Early inspirations include the legendary Carnegie Museum art classes taught by Andy Warhol’s mentor, Joseph Fitzpatrick; calligraphy lessons; decorative objets d’arts: champlevé, cloisoneé, plique-a-jour, art glass, carved ivory and mother-of-pearl, wood marquetry, cast bronze, repouseé silver, antique buttons; Arthur Baker; Alphonse Mucha; Will Bradley; Louis Madarasz; the unknown master-skilled craftsmen whose work live in old type-specimen books and last but not least, Paris.
